Award Honors Outstanding Laboratory Team Member

Congratulations to Laboratory IT Analyst Matthew Goldberg, who recently was named the winner of the 24th Annual Hazel Award, which recognizes outstanding Laboratory team members.

Matthew, a Medical Laboratory Scientist, has been a dedicated SMH team member for 13 years. Known for his positive attitude, Matt is described by his colleagues as a “shining star” who “makes the lab a better place!”

The award was named in honor of the late Hazel Poad, a beloved former member of the Laboratory team who passed away in 2000.

Thank you, Matt, for all you do to improve the quality of care for our patients!
