Emergency Response Guides: Make Sure You Have Updated Version!
The Public Safety Emergency Management Team has been busy the last few months distributing the updated “Guide for Emergency Responses” at health system locations. The new version has updated phone numbers and other information. If your area does not have a new guide that looks like the one shown below, please contact Emergency Management at emergency-management@smh.com and the team will send one to you.
The team also needs your help to dispose of the old “flip chart” emergency response guides in your areas. (See below). Please place the old guides in the recycling bin once you have the new updated version. All of the old guides must be removed to ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards. Thank you!
