Local Nonprofits Offer Free Tax Preparation to Eligible Community Members
If you earned under certain income thresholds, you may be eligible for free help in preparing and e-filing your federal tax return over the next few months. See several notes below from United Way of the Suncoast and Step Up Suncoast (in English and Spanish).
United Way also will hold a “Tax-A-Thon” this Saturday, Feb. 12 from 10 am to 5 pm, at its office at 1800 2nd Street, Sarasota. (Door opens on Osprey Ave.) Appointments are required and can be made by visiting www.uwsvita.org or by calling 1-833-897-8482. See more details in the first notice below.
