Staff Step Up to Lend a Helping Hand
Sarasota Memorial’s Labor Pool is Still Seeking Employees Interested In Working Paid Shifts
Many thanks to 350 staff who have joined the Helping Hands Labor Pool to date! These employees, some of whom are pictured here, work outside their job duties to support the demands of the recent COVID surge.
To date, more than 1,600 requests for assignments have been processed!
The Labor Pool continues to seek clinical and non-clinical employees interested in working paid shifts, especially on weekdays. The assignments are based on skill set, and include the Employee Health COVID Screening Hotline, Urgent Care Centers and Food & Nutrition Services. Roles include swabbing patients, screening employees through the hotline and communicating results, providing nursing services in the Urgent Care Centers, and helping Food & Nutrition with meal prep & delivery and answering phones. Questions about the Labor Pool can be sent to Emily Molnar or Daniela Suarez-Rivero via SMH email.
