Outpatient Laboratory to Move to First Floor of Waldemere Medical Plaza on July 24

New Diagnostic Center Also Will Include Expanded Radiology Services

Sarasota Memorial plans to open a new outpatient Diagnostic Center on the first floor of Waldemere Medical Plaza on July 24 to give patients one-stop access to both Laboratory Services and expanded Radiology Services.

The outpatient Lab currently located on the second floor of Waldmere Medical Plaza, next to Walgreens, will move to the new first-floor center, which will be located in Suite 106.

• Lab hours/phone: Walk-in Lab testing will be available at the new Diagnostic Center from 6:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday starting July 24. For information, call (941) 917-1169.

• Radiology hours/phone: In addition to Lab Services, the new Diagnostic Center in Suite 106 also will have expanded Radiology Services, including digital screening mammography (3D available), bone density and X-ray. Radiology/Imaging Services hours will be 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday- Friday starting July 24. For scheduling, call (941) 917-7322.

Please note, the Breast Health Center will remain open in Suite 110 in Waldemere Medical Plaza.

• Fax orders to: The new Diagnostic Center will share the same fax number for labs and radiology orders, (941) 917-2295.

Reserved parking will be available for Diagnostic Center patients on the first floor of the North Parking Garage. Signs in Waldemere Medical Plaza and the North Garage will help direct patients to the new Diagnostic Center and parking.
