Rock the Roof to Benefit Women’s & Children’s Services

This fall, the roof of Sarasota Memorial’s West Parking Garage will rock out to the sounds of Electric Avenue and talented doctor bands as the Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation hosts its first Rock the Roof event in more than a decade. The event takes place at 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 5.

The event honors Pat Snyder, who was manager/head nurse of SMH’s Pediatric/Adolescent Program from 1985 to 1996.

Sarasota County Public Hospital Board member Britt Riner, along with fellow co-chairs Melissa Perrin and fellow Board member Sarah Lodge, hope the fun ’80s rock-and-roll theme will attract a new crowd that doesn’t typically come to the Healthcare Foundation’s Gala and Golf Tournament. “There’s something for everyone at this event!” said Britt.
