Open Enrollment for 2022 Benefits is Aug. 11 – 25

Open enrollment for 2022 SMH benefits will take place Aug. 11 – 25, 2021. The new plan year begins Oct. 1, 2021 and runs through Sept. 30, 2022.

This will be your annual opportunity to select or change your benefits coverage. If you do not take action by the open enrollment deadline of August 25, your current coverage will continue, as is, for the new plan year, at the 2022 rates. You will not be able to change your coverage or make different selections until the open enrollment period next year, unless you experience a qualifying life event such as a marriage, divorce or birth of a child.

Even if you don’t plan to change your benefits for 2022, it’s worthwhile to review your current coverage (listed in My HR under “Benefit Details”) to ensure all of your current choices and covered family members on each plan are correct.
